Why I need to repent? I am a good person.
Probably, you already told this. But let you imagine this picture: after this life you see Christ. Can you that moment say to Him: accept me because I am a good person, when all not good deeds will appear before you, your not good words and your thoughts. Even, if your life was good, but you did not meet Him when you lived on the Earth, He may say to you: I never known you, you did not believe in Me. You did not repent (Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God), you did nothing for Me, you did not seek my presents and you did not give thanks for Me. You just lived for yourself. He needs those who value His suffering. He is being the Son of God came to the Earth, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Therefore, not lose your time. You have this chance. Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and you will have life even being on the earth. Do not lose this opportunity.
Is it needed for God your youth?
Dear friend, you are valuable in the sight of God. He loves you. Our topic is: “Is it needed for God your youth?”. Young people often say: When I will be old I will believe to God, serve Him, and go to church. I would like to give you life example: you decided to make gift for your friend and bought a laptop computer. After that, you decided to give this present a few years later. During this time, the laptop worn out, not enough memory, CPU working very slow, and have other problems. Do you think your friend will accept this gift? I think no or just for parts. But God is merciful. He forgives people in old age. But there is one question. Do you think you will be alive until old ages? Two young people came to pastor and asked him: how much time needed for repentance. He answered that one minute is enough. They told him that they would repent in old ages. They sat on their motorcycle and the same day they were crashed. They were late. Will you be able to repent waiting the old ages? Do not be late.
Have you ever thanked God?
Dear friend! I want to ask you. Have you ever told to God: “Thank You”? Did you give thanks to Him for your life? Do you know that many people were not born, but you have life? Did you give thanks to God for the Earth? There are many planets in the Solar system, but only Earth is so beautiful? The other planets are empty and lifeless. Did you give thanks for seas, oceans, rivers, mountains, birds, fish and other? Did you give thanks to Him for food and water? Many people in this world have not enough food and water. Did you give thanks to the Lord for a job, house, car and other? Before, people worshiped to idols and other gods. When Paul was in Athens and between idols he found altar to Unknown God. Probably, this person who built that altar wanted to give thanks to God. What is your response? What did you do to give thanks to God? God even sent Jesus, His Son who was died for your sins. If you will believe and accept Him, you will have eternal life. Are you ready to have reconciliation with God? Will you refuse Him and select death? God so loved the world! Come to Him! Today is the day of salvation! You can accept Him right now! Pray to Him this prayer. Dear God, I come to you. Forgive all of my sins. I repent, clean my heart. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, who died for me. I accept Him as my Savior. I give my heart to You. Jesus – You are my Lord! Lead me and help me to be faithful to You to the end of my life. Amen. The Word of God that said: if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. If you did so, you are the son (daughter) of God. Now, rejoice in the Lord, give thanks to Him, read Holly Bible, pray to Him! Also, to grow spiritually you need to find Evangelical Church and regularly visit it. God bless you!
Stand Up For Jesus
This is a true story of something that happened just a few years ago at USC. There was a professor of philosophy there who was a deeply committed atheist. His primary goal for one required class was to spend the entire semester attempting to prove that God couldn't exist.
His students were always afraid to argue with him because of his impeccable logic. For 20 years, he had taught this class and no one had ever had the courage to go against him. Sure, some had argued in class at times, but no one had ever had really gone against him (you'll see what I mean later). Nobody would go against him because he had a reputation.
At the end of every semester on the last day, he would say to his class of 300 students, "If there is anyone here who still believes in Jesus, stand up!" In 20 years, no one had ever stood up. They knew what he was going to
do next. He would say, "because anyone who believes in God is a fool. If God existed, he could stop this piece of chalk from hitting the ground and breaking. Such a simple task to prove that He is God, and yet He can't do it."
And every year, he would drop the chalk onto the tile floor of the classroom and it would shatter into a hundred pieces. All of the students could do nothing but stop and stare.
Most of the students were convinced that God couldn't exist. Certainly, a number of Christians had slipped through, but for 20 years, they had been too afraid to stand up.
Well, a few years ago, there was a freshman who happened to get enrolled in the class.
He was a Christian, and had heard the stories about his professor. He had to take the class because it was one of the required classes for his major and he was afraid.
But for 3 months that semester, he prayed every morning that he would have the courage to stand up no matter what the professor said or what the class thought. Nothing they said could ever shatter his faith, he hoped.
Finally the day came. The professor said, "If there is anyone here who still believes in God, stand up!"
The professor and the class of 300 people looked at him, shocked, as he stood up at the back of the classroom. The professor shouted, "You FOOL!! If God existed he could keep this piece of chalk from breaking
when it hit the ground!"
He proceeded to drop the chalk, but as he did, it slipped out of his fingers, off his shirt cuff, onto the pleats of his pants, down his leg, and off his shoe.
As it hit the ground, it simply rolled away, unbroken.
The professor's jaw dropped as he stared at the chalk. He looked up at the young man and then ran out of the lecture hall.
The young man who had stood up proceeded to walk to the front of the room and shared his faith in Jesus for the next half hour.
300 students stayed and listened as he told of God's love for them and of his power through Jesus.
